Zhao | Fire Turtle

Zhao is associated here with Fire in the Five Elements. Its name sounds like the Chinese word for an omen, suggesting an auspicious sign.

In observing heaven and earth, people of the past looked to omens for guidance. Zhao evokes not only a sign of what is to come, but the first stirring of hope and the promise of light. Fire represents brightness and propriety. Fire gives light; light gives hope.
